Make a donation

Individual donations are very important to the Chorus and contribute significantly to our future.  Your donation will help us to achieve excellence in performance, develop choral singing and choral music, and involve others in the community.

If you are considering making a donation, please email sponsorship@lsc.org.uk.

Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer, you can increase the value of your donation at no extra cost to you, allowing us to claim tax relief through the Gift Aid Scheme. Higher rate taxpayers can also reclaim additional personal tax relief.

If you are unsure whether your donations qualify for Gift Aid tax relief, please contact us at finance@lsc.org.uk.

Become an LSC Friend

The London Symphony Chorus is one of the most highly respected and vibrant non-professional choirs in the world. We perform regularly with major orchestras, soloists and conductors worldwide.

The Chorus has a particularly close relationship with the world-class London Symphony Orchestra and its home in the Barbican in London.

Join like-minded music lovers and help support the Chorus. For a small annual donation, Friends are able to enjoy:

- pre-concert talks and post-concert events

- invitations to social events and singing days

- access to rehearsals

Friends are asked to give £50 each year, but smaller and larger donations are also very welcome. Please makes cheques payable to the London Symphony Chorus.

Become an LSC Patron

Patrons give substantial financial support and help to the Chorus.  Enjoy a close involvement with the Chorus.  Help us to maintain our commitment to excellence and access by helping us to:

  • Commission new choral music
  • Support concerts promoted by the Chorus
  • Support the musical development of the chorus
  • Involve others in the community through singing days and outreach

In return we will closely involve you in our work and:

  • Acknowledge your support in our programmes and newsletters
  • Keep you closely involved and informed about our concerts and events
  • Inform you about now your donation is being used
  • Invite you to meet us, listen to our rehearsals, and become involved in the work of the Chorus
  • Provide two top price tickets for some of our concerts
  • LSC Patrons are invited to make a donation of £1000 or more.

Legacies

Legacies can be used in many ways to help the Chorus with its work in achieving excellence, developing choral music and singing, and involving others in the community.

A legacy can be left to a specific project such as:

  • Endowing the post of Musical Director
  • Sponsoring a concert in someone's memory
  • Commissioning new choral music
  • Supporting the Chorus's outreach programme
